Our client is a small but rapidly expanding company, who represent foreign suppliers with sales concentrated in the UK and Ireland, and supply marine equipment to the commercial shipping industry and underwater inspection markets. The business is an ISO9001 registered company.
The business is based in Yeovil, though a relocation is planned within the year, probably to Southampton. They hence require someone who could start immediately and continue until this relocation - if you are flexible and want to move with the company this is ideal, otherwise it will be a short term contract of 6- 9 months initially with an option to extend.
The Customer Services Administrator will be responsible for the control of administration and record keeping for all orders received, including all order paperwork, purchasing, invoicing, delivery schedules, contract queries, and after sales customer care.
You will also control administration and record keeping for the technical support engineers and will ensure accurate record keeping and paperwork - liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure technical support is completed satisfactorily whilst keeping accurate records at all times.
It will be your responsibility to report to the directors on a monthly basis with summaries of job profitability, product performance and customer feedback, to attend weekly production meetings and report all outstanding matters to do with jobs currently within the company, and to liaise and pass information between various personnel in the company. You will also support the commercial director in day to day matters to do with the running of the business including flight and travel plans, exhibition planning, telephone support, and general day to day activities as they arise.
This role demands a very high quality of personal organisation and attention to detail - initiative, strong time management and ability to prioritise. The candidate must be articulate and literate, good with figures, and will have an ability to communicate with customers and build relationships. A smart appearance and a willingness to support all aspects of a small and busy company are required.
Salary is dependent upon experience but will range between £12000 and £15000 pro rata. Hours of work are 8.30-5pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.30-3.30 Friday. To apply, please simply send your CV via the button shown.
