My client is one of the major players in the oil and gas industry and they are looking for a document controller to cover their two sites in Aberdeen. This will be a 12 month contract based in either Westhill or Stoneywood.
Specific Roles & Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain projects' master document registers on prescribed software
Support the project teams on all aspects of document control, as required
Manage and record the throughput of all project documentation from internal departments, clients and suppliers
Compile reports as required by the Project teams
Assist supply of documents for project requirements ( mobilisations etc)
Work with Projects / internal groups to ensure as-built documentation is made available for review
Organise documentation for hard copies / CD etc
Work with others to get copying completed as required
Responsible for Project document archiving processes
Maintain a knowledge of document control software
Assist in relevant DC work
Liaise with internal departments to ensure documents are produced in a timely manner and ensure good quality of documents.
Liaise with vendors on any lateness / queries etc.
