A Hertfordshire based home furnishings company requires an Import Trade Finance Administrator to control the import documentation and suppliers payments. The role is essential to ensure the timely delivery of goods from overseas suppliers to our end customers. The Trade Finance Administrator reports to the Financial Controller Responsibilities include: * Controlling timely and accurate document flows (e.g. Bills of Lading/Airwaybills, Bills of Exchange, etc.) between suppliers, banks, shipping agents and internal contacts. * Opening and amending Import Letters of Credit. * Processing applications for Import Licences. * Maintaining Cashflow forecast for all LC and Bill of Exchange payments. * Recovery of Debit Notes from suppliers. * Minimum 3 years experience required including Documentary Credit experience and a working knowledge of Purchase Ledger processes, together with computer literacy on Word and Excel are required.
