Our Client, an established IFA Financial Planning Practice in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, is now seeking a talented professional financial services senior administrator to become an integral part of the financial planning team.
You will primarily be responsible for making sure that all transactions requested by their clients are put into place promptly and efficiently and ensuring all regulatory compliance documents are provided, along with any information or service requests. On an ongoing basis, you will manage the clients' “financial diary” in conjunction with the Adviser responsible, to keep in touch over the period between annual reviews and make sure timely reminders or portfolio valuations are sent as appropriate.
On a day to day basis you will also liaise with Clients, Insurance and Investment Companies, Solicitors and Accountants dealing with information requests and queries. You will cover a wide range of products which will include Pensions (primarily SIPPs), and all forms of Investments and Protection. You will be a primary point of contact between our client and the Investment Managers they work closely with to build bespoke client wealth management portfolios.
All prospective applicants should have at least 2 years financial services/sales support experience of working within a tied or IFA environment. You will have good product knowledge and have at least a basic understanding of the requirements to fulfil FSA compliance requirements, however training will be given in this area to ensure local standards are complied with. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with people at all levels, including the ability to write letters and emails with a good standard of readability and accuracy. You must be a team player as well as being able to work on own initiative. A good working knowledge of 1st Software (Adviser Office) is a also a key prerequisite. FPC 1 and 2 or equivalent, is a minimum requirement.
This position allows for a great deal of autonomy, client contact and relationship building and is a role that is fast paced, has variety and team involvement and requires good attention to detail.
