Our Client, an established IFA Financial Planning practice in Rickmansworth is now seeking a talented financial services administrator to be an integral part of the financial planning and business administration team.

On a day to day basis you will primarily be responsible for recording commission and fee receipts and chasing any outstanding payments and querying payments received which do not match expected estimates. On a monthly basis, you will carry out the end of month business procedures which involves updating the system and calculating any payaways or clawbacks due.

In conjunction with the above, you will also work alongside the Paraplanner within the financial planning team primarily in the early stages of the process to obtain full details of clients' existing policies and plans. Details obtained must be carefully logged and entered on the client database record. You will be working to strict deadlines in order to ensure high levels of client service and efficiency expectations are met. This part of the role will also involve setting up new clients and entering basic data on Prestwood financial planning software, and full training will be given in this area.

All prospective applicants should have at least 1 years financial services/sales support experience of working within a tied or IFA environment and have gained a good level of product knowledge in all areas. Familiarity and previous extensive use of the back office systems of 1st Software (Adviser Office) is essential, however tailored training can be provided to build on existing knowledge, so that proficiency in the key areas can be obtained.

You must be a team player as being able to work on own initiative. Experience is more important that Industry qualifications however a desire to complete would be advantageous.
