Assistant Account Manager
Midlothian, Livingston
Up to £23,000 plus commission + medical + dental + non-contributory pension

Our client is an innovative, award-winning company that has led the business continuity and disaster recovery industry in the UK for 25 years. They are looking to recruit an Assistant Account Manager.

The role:

As Assistant Account Manager you will provide support for a designated number of accounts as defined by the Regional Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

* Calculating quotes for upgrades/renewals
* Assist in preparing responses to RFI and RFP requests from clients and prospects
* Representing the designated accounts at Orientation meetings on company sites
* Carrying out post test review meetings at the company or customer locations
* Dealing and responding to Customer enquiries
* Arranging Customer Awareness and Training Sessions as required
* Updating Goldmine for forecasts and database updates
* Assist with supplying account information internally with respect to the designated accounts
* Assist the Account Manager in producing:
- Contracts
- CCF
- Quotes
- Assistance in responding to requests for information from Customers
- Reports if required
* Attendance and full participation at Sales Meetings

Educational Qualifications:

* Good General Education, ideally with some previous administrative experience

Technical Expertise:

* Computer Literate with good Administration Skills (Word / Excel / Powerpoint)

Aptitude and Disposition:

* Ability to deal with Customers
* Able to work independently
* Self motivation a must
* Interpersonal skills (Able to listen and act)
* Good Organisation skills
* Flexible attitude
* Able to work under pressure
