I have leading research organisations specialising in technology such as crystal fibre, fibre lasers and DPSS lasers, who require Opto Comms Scientists to join their R&D teams. Projects will involve designing in-fibre technology & laser systems such as diode pumped solid state lasers & fibre lasers. BSc or PhD in Physics & experience with fibre lasers, FBG, integrated optics, waveguides or fibre fabrication. Any modelling, C++, or Matlab, would be advantageous.
