My client in Hampshire are seeking to recruit an acoustics engineer.
My client are looking for an engineer to join their product development team. You will be working in a project-based environment designing products for high-volume manufacture. The role will include design and evaluation of new products to the requirements of an ISO9001 system.
Main areas of responsibility:
Theoretical modelling/analysis & design of robust high efficiency acoustic cavities for use in sounder products.
Design and test of voice alarm system components.
Key skills and knowledge required:
Qualifications in Physics or Electronics with relevant modules.
It will be an advantage if applicants have experience of:
Very low power analogue and digital circuit design.
Embedded systems programming in assembler and C.
Design & evaluation of optical systems for detecting smoke and calibrating detectors - ideally using Lumex VOB.
