We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to form and lead our new sales team. We are an established IT Services and Software Development company which currently does not have a specific sales function so you will be taking responsibility for the sales performance of company. Initially you will be leading a team of one, yourself!The position is a 100% New Business role, that will require you to develop your own leads via cold-calling, networking, using existing contacts etc. As your role grows you will need to recruit additional staff to support your efforts and build your successful team. This is a hands on role not suitable for a pure sales manager. It goes without saying that you must be highly self motivated and a great motivator with excellent people skills. You must have successful track record in IT Sales, ideally having worked for an IT services company or reseller of hardware or custom written software, perhaps wanting to prove themselves as a leader of a smaller team where their skills would be noticed and rewarded. Remuneration is based on results with basic salary of £25k with UNLIMITED potential commission/OTE. You will earn commission on all sales you (and your team) bring into the company. Long term we see this role as being highly personally, professionally and financially rewarding leading to an eventual board level position.
