My client is a well-established and respected UK based distributor of electro-mechanical and semiconductor products whose growth has been fuelled through technical innovation, design and superb customer focus. They have a strong technical bias and their continuing aim is to keep in touch with their client?s quest for development.
They now seek to further strengthen their sales team with the addition of a Field Sales Engineer for the Northern territtory. This is an established and rapidly expanding area, which will need the attention of someone who is prepared to nurture and develop it both with existing and new clients alike. Whilst there will be accounts to manage you will be expected to seek, find and develop new clients, opportunities and markets.
You will have at least 2/3 years experience of selling in a similar environment and will have a good understanding of the e-mech, passive and semiconductor markets, primarily micro controllers, memories, wireless products and LCD's. You will be tenacious, astute, able to communicate at all levels and prepared to go the extra mile to develop a long-term career.
