SALES MANAGER REQUIRED BY SPECIALIST CONSUMER MAGAZINE
Quarto Magazines is a successful consumer magazine business with a well-established reputation. We recently launched a subscription-only magazine, The World of Fine Wine, to great acclaim.
We are continuing to grow the magazine and now have an excellent opportunity for an exceptional advertising sales person to sell display ads to new and established top-end clients in the international wine market. Some overseas travel may be required.
Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years experience creating advertising sales for a specialist magazine. They should be confident, presentable, articulate and diplomatic, and comfortable representing the business at events and to customers around the world.
Candidates must be organised and able to create and follow-through leads, and must be able to work with the publishing team to develop commercial opportunities. They need not know about fine wine, but must be enthusiastic and prepared to learn. A working knowledge of French would be a benefit.
The remuneration package includes a good basic salary, commission, and contributory pension.
