Must have 5+ years IC layout experience and ideally be an experienced analogue layout eng; may possibly consider someone from digital layout with a strong interest to learn analogue.

Our client is a US-based semiconductor firm specialising in power management devices for phones, laptops and PDAs and are steadily expanding to meet the needs of business.

Working in a small layout team, you'll be responsible for the development of layout and detailed drawings of Bipolar and biCMOS semiconductor devices from schematics provided by the design engineering groups. You will be expected to meet or exceed die estimates, and aim to reduce the number of layers in the design. You will have the accuracy and speed required to get through at least one bipolar cell (or ½ a biCMOS cell) per day on average.
