As a major European Consulting, Systems Integration and Application Outsourcing company, our Client assist enterprises businesses in a wide variety of IT and Consultancy projects, from the definition of strategies through to their implementation. Their assets include expertise in major projects, knowledge of clients specific business, expertise in technologies, and a broad European presence. Our client (one of Europes leading IT solution providers with Head Quarters in Paris, France), have a proven track record of providing IT services to their ever-expanding list of blue chip clients, across the core sectors: Banking/Finance, Insurance, Manufacturing/Distribution, Telecommunications, Retail, Utilities and Public Sectors. Located in 7 European countries with approx. 7,000 employees, of whom 1,500 are outside of France. The client has been expanding their UK business in the last 18 months through a number of acquisitions combined with rapid organic growth. With 4 Business Units positioned strategically throughout the UK: Central London, Stevenage, Oxford and Edinburgh, our client is constantly looking for high calibre candidates to assist this business expansion. They now an immediate vacancy for a Business Development Representative with a successful track record in the sale of IT services and consultancy solutions. This is a pivotal new role in an ambitious, expanding IT Consultancy, therefore a minimum of 3 years Sales experience is required. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and closing new sales opportunities as well as increasing sales within their existing client base. This will be within a defined sales territory based in Southern England reporting into the client’s Oxford based business unit. You will be supported in this key activity thoughout the sales cycle by an experienced and highly motivated pre-sales and project delivery team. There are certain key mandatory requirements for this role: *Strong new business focus achieved over 3-5 years senior sales experience. *Consistent Achievement / Overachievement against targets *Ability to identify and target key prospect organisations *Some account management/development experience is required *Track record of success in winning new name new client business is essential *Tenacious, highly self motivated self starter *A track record of selling large, complex, IT solutions and a deep and broad understanding of the technology industry, industry trends and technologies All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, please do not apply if you are not eligible. Package: £70,000 - £80,000 OTE
