My client designs and manufactures a wide range of commercial and industrial air conditioning products for a world-wide market. With manufacturing facilities in the UK and USA, and a variety of proprietary technology they are well positioned to progress. My client is both a professional and supportive business investing in people and regarded as having high staff retention.
They currently require Sales Engineers working within the South East and the Midlands to cover a variety of clients ranging from OEM's, specifiers, architects, M&E consultants and M&E Contractors. Clients are typically from the Banking, IT, Telecomms, Building Control, Printing, Plastics, Commercial, Chemical and Pharmaceutical sectors. The products are highly engineered for a variety of commercial and industrial chiller, air conditioning, HVAC and Close Control applications so require Sales Engineers with an advanced understanding of electrical engineering & mechanical engineering and ideally having worked in the Industrial Air Conditioning field or indeed a closely related field such as UPS, turbines, heat exchange equipment, VRV, VRF, heat condensers or other facilities based capital equipment. The ability to present and sell engineer-to-engineer is vital as is the ability to maintain visibility of upcoming projects and maintaining brand awareness with the client. Order values will range from as little as £10k up to hundreds of thousands, and significant technical and pricing support will be available by internal sales staff with most key clients and accounts already known. Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate the ability to take an element of financial responsibility particularly for margin and profitability.
My client offers a strong financial package including a base salary circa £40-45k, car allowance and OTE bonus circa £10-15K.
