Well-established engineering company currently require a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding team.
You will have a strong Mechanical Design background with sheet metal design experience. Any supervisory or team leading experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Job Role:
The role will include a combination of design, drafting and product development activities. The Development Engineering will run and manage customer specific projects and will be a key player in New Product Innovation and Development.
Key Skills:
Ability to undertake product validation and test programs
Data logging/experimental information gathering
CAD (AutoCAD)
Customer and supplier liaison
Project Management
Desirable Skills: (not essential)
Knowledge of design for manufacture, pressure vessel design codes (such as ASMEVIII) and chemical/petrochemical industry.
