My client is a well-established and respected component distributor and value-added services supplier to companies operating in the high technology industry. They are part of a large group but like all companies within this group, they run autonomously and have continued to sustain growth and an enviable client base whom they service professionally and successfully.
They now seek to compliment their existing sales team with the addition of a Field Sales Executive covering the North of England. First and foremost you will posses a strong understanding of electronic components and will have at least 2/3 years experience of selling within this market place, preferably for a distribution company. You will a motivated, self-driven, results orientated individual who is able to communicate effectively at all levels.
A technical qualification is not a pre-requisite for this role although a good understanding to design/ applications level would be a distinct advantage. This role will require a large amount of new business development so the 'hunter' instinct most certainly will be of paramount importance as will a positive attitude, good presentation skills and an inquisitive, analytical mind. Ideally based in the Leeds or Manchester area.
