Our client is an internationally leading laboratory and process technology supplier. They offer their customers from the pharmaceutical/biotech, chemical, food and beverage industries and from the public sector a wide spectrum of products and system solutions. They currently have a vacancy for an Industrial Sales Specialist for our Northern territory (ideal location would be Manchester, Leeds or Sheffield) The successful candidate will be Selling our clients Industrial Scales, Global Weighing Technology Load Cells, components, process indicators and Computer based Systems. The role will extend to In-line check weighing and Metal Detection products. The ideal candidate will have the following: - Technical sales experience of capital equipment - Experience in the Food, Pharmaceutical or chemical industry. - Degree or HND for applicants without specific product and sales experience. - Computer Literacy: Windows operating system,Windows NT, MS Office (including Powerpoint, Excel, Word and Outlook, ACT! Networks; Novell, NT, RS232, Interfacing. Additional IT skills and knowledge of PROFIBUS comms and plc’s etc a significant advantage but not essential Individual Attributes * Self sufficient * Can demonstrate Initiative * Able to work to standard procedures * Self disciplined * Well organised * Prepared to use Hands on approach * Good demonstration Skills (Individual and Groups) * Ability to deal all levels of customers * Prepared to stay away (occasional) Package: £25,000 - £29,000 Basic + Commission and yearly bonus Fully Expensed Car If you feel you have the required experience, determination and skills required then simply apply via the button shown.
