Capita Registrars is one of the largest share registrars in the UK with a client base including 58% of all UK publicly quoted companies. We now require a Head of Business Development to lead our sales drive in the flotation market place. The ideal candidate will have a successful proven track record in the financial services and securities industry, preferably with direct experience of the share registration industry. Budgetary Responsibility: * Assume responsibility for assisting in all areas in order to ensure that the business development team meets its target. * Assume specific responsibility for those new business targets assigned to the Head of Business Development, the Business Development Manager and Business Development Assistant. Role: * Co-ordinate the activities of the team, in order to ensure the above budgetary requirements are achieved. * Monitor, maintain and develop links with current and potential future business providers. * Maintain full records of the above on the company’s database systems. * Identify and initiate contact with companies likely to float, with the use of research tools available. * Arrange, facilitate and conduct sales meetings. * Report fully to the Deputy Divisional Sales Director on: · All areas of the teams activity · New client wins and prospects · Market share statistics · Monetary value of new clients If you are interested in this position then simply apply via the button shown.
