My client is a worldwide leader in the field of processing and filtration equipment for industries such as electronics, compound semiconductors, pharmaceutical, metallurgy, instrumentation and R&D. They utilise a range of expertise within the company to deliver process-enabling technologies including a combination of materials, vacuum, exhaust management, liquid abatement and gas abatement.
They currently require a technically proficient Key Account Manager to act as the key point of contact for a multi-national semiconductor client. Technical skills and strong soft skills are essential as is the ability to maintain and establish strong bonds with senior level contacts. The Key Account Manager will be expected to immerse themselves in the client's culture, being able to identify the customer's requirements and acquire market intelligence and potential. A degree in Electronics Engineering or another semiconductor subject would be preferred so that you can develop a deep understanding of the client's technology and ensure the client's needs are being fully met and a full range of products are being made available to them. Other aspects such as managing Service Agreements, developing after-sales services and providing on-site safety systems are also important. Prospective candidates must live in Southern Ireland or be prepared to relocate for this career role.
Base salary for this role will be 55,000-65000 Euros plus various benefits and an opportunity to work for one of the world's leading Blue Chip technical organisations.
