Our client a well established leading high street fashion retailer. The group operates from around 375 high street stores with plans to increase this number in 2007.
They are looking for a merchandise admin assistant to join a branch team in Hertfordshire. As a merchandise admin assistant you will be providing administrative support for the merchandising team and also assist with the planning and development of the department.
You will be working very closely with the assistant merchandiser, assisting in the schedules and timely delivery of stock, updating the delivery systems ensuring that all information is correct, setting up and maintaining filing systems, liaising with distribution centres.
You will also work closely with the assistant merchandisers to develop an understanding of stock management and also the understanding of the merchandising processes in place.
You will have excellent numerical skills and previous experience working in a fashion retail environment would prove beneficial, as well as a keen interest in ladies fashion retail and good commercial awareness.
As merchandise admin assistant you must have the ability to work well under pressure, have attention to detail, self motivate, good team player, and definitely an aspiration to becoming a merchandiser.
