Our client a gas appliance sales, services and installations company require a Manager for their showroom in Shirley , Southampton.
The ideal candidate will ideally be 35+ with a mature and professional manner but a sense of humour is a must!!
You'll be responsible for managing 6 staff in a hectic but friendly environment. Managerial experience would be useful but not essential but you must have experience of gas appliances (in particular fires and flues) as this is a specialist trade. The showroom also sells cookers, hobs, water heaters and fire surrounds.
Other duties include invoicing, selling to prospective customers, ordering and pricing appliances so you will need to have basic IT skills.
If you’re looking to progress to a more senior role or have previously worked for a plumbing wholesalers this could be the ideal job for you
