ÂJob Specification:â Needing only limited supervision undertake the design of new bridges, bridge strengthening and maintenance works, railway station building refurbishments and new facilities for railway depots, and undertake structural inspections and assessments of bridges and buildings. Project managing small schemes involving bridge strengthening, bridge maintenance, railway station building refurbishments and new railway depot facilities. Supervision of Draughting staff allocated to team on a project by project basis. See attached Bridge Design and Building Structures Design Function Descriptions. ÂPerson Specification:â Sound understanding of structural engineering preferably including bridge analytical techniques. Minimum of three years experience in either Bridge Engineering or Structural/Civil Engineering in the Railway Environment. Good team worker. Experience of HA standards with respect to Bridge Design and Assessment. Appreciation of the transportation structures market in the North of England. Ô
