Senior Quantity Surveyor - Leeds

A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required by my client to be based in my clients recently established Infrastructure Unit.
My client is a unique global consultancy involved in real estate, infrastructure and construction sectors. They are involved in a variety of sectors including commercial, retail, residential, education, health, government, water, rail and aviation.
The successful candidate will join a newly established team providing both pre and post contract quantity surveying and cost management, prepare financial reports and audit contractor’s accounts. As a Senior Surveyor you will also be responsible for the supervision of two Assistant Quantity Surveyors in addition to you usual duties.
So, what are they looking for?
•The ideal candidate will be a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years commercial experience
•A strong contractor / consultancy background is essential, ideally in the utilities sector
•You must be have a high level of understanding of the Infrastructure market
• It will be a distinct advantage if you have a proven track record of public and utilities procurement legislation.
• Knowledge of the NEC forms of contract is considered very important by my client
In return for your skills, the successful candidate will be offered:
•Around £36,000 per annum depending upon experience
