Quantity Surveyor – Construction, £18m city centre apartments – Leeds

My client is one of Britain's largest commercial and residential development and construction businesses with a turnover of more than £240 million. Over 30 years experience in the industry has meant that they have grown steadily, on a solid basis of partnering and joint venture agreements with public and private sector clients.
Currently there is a vacancy for a Quantity Surveyor to be site based in the centre of Leeds working on a £18m block which will contain retail establishments and luxury apartments.
The Quantity Surveyor will be the number 2 commercial lead on the project reporting directly to the Commercial Manager.
The Candidate
• Candidates must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. The ability to successfully interact with both clients and fellow team members is also an essential requirement.
• Minimum educational level of an HND in a related subject
• Successful candidates will currently be a Quantity Surveyor and have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• A construction background with a main contractor is essential
In return for your skills as an Quantity Surveyor, the client are prepared to offer an extensive benefits package that will include a competitive salary of up to £30,000 (depending upon experience) and benefits including a company car/allowance, pension, health and a bonus scheme.
