A large rail contractor currently require a Buyer to manage the day-to-day procurement and purchasing customer support for all relevant stock.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a reliable supply of stock, and will oversee the delivery of track maintenance, track renewals and enhancement projects via monitoring and managing the order process.
The ideal candidate will have several years experience in the construction or rail-related industry, specifically within buying or procurement. Also, a good understanding of the supply and demand chain would be beneficial.
