Due to an increase in work, our client is seeking to employ a full time CAD Technician to be based in their Glasgow office.
The ideal candidate will have a HNC/HND in either Mechanical/Electrical/Civil or Structural Engineering with at least 3 years relevant CAD experience.
It is also essential that you have a working knowledge of MicroStation V8.
Ideally you will have a previous experience in Railway Electrification although this is not essential. Previous experience of working within the rail industry would also be advantageous.
You will be working on the production of overhead line electrification drawings and layouts.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparation of CAD models and drawings in Microstation.
Undertaking CAD work for various design projects.
Ensuring that CAD standards and templates are maintained.
