<b>Job Summary</b> <br><p>Atkins Rail Control and Systems business specialises in signalling and train control systems, telecommunications, railway operations, and systems integration on both mainline and metro systems. </p><p>Atkins employs over 700 control and systems professionals who combine technical excellence, business acumen and a thorough understanding of stakeholder objectives to deliver solutions that accord with widely differing demands.</p><br><br><b>Responsibilities</b> <br><ul><li>Produce designs, specifications, reports and working drawings to meet contract requirements within agreed timescales and performance parameters</li><li>Implement the requirements of Atkins Rail Business Management System, Core Assurance Case and Railway Safety Case</li><li>Assist in determination of engineering policy and deal with engineering and contractual matters with professional integrity at all times</li></ul><br><br><b>Requirements</b> <br><ul><li>Able to carry out Safety Critical Work</li><li>UK Signalling Design Engineer skills including knowledge of standards, procedures, CAD</li><li>At least 6 years experience of UK signalling design</li><li>Experience of signalling design checking</li><li>Fit and able to work trackside.</li><li>IRSE Design Licence: 1.1.110 (Designer)</li><li>PTS<b></b></li><li>Degree/HNC in Electrical Engineering or similar</li></ul><br><br><b>Training</b> <br>Atkins develops individuals through a portfolio of training and development courses designed to help you make the best of your abilities and talents.
