International Engineering Consultants require a Permanent Way Engineer based out of their Midlands office. Job Purpose: To be a section leader of a multidisciplinary design team on larger projects, or to lead medium sized projects. The focus will be on competent design skills and relevant experience of managing small projects. The post holder will report to a team leader on the larger projects; will be responsible for the training and skill development of recently recruited graduates; and will have skill to define best- practice on issues identified on projects The post involves railway civil engineering design work (with significant work being on computer/CAD). Experience of “InRail”, or other design experience within the rail industry would be an advantage. The post involves the ability to plan and manage the work of self and others within the defined scope of a small team. Qualifications
