A privately owned company based in Walsall requires an electronics design engineer to join their existing design team. The company turns over more than £7million annually and employs over 150 people at their site.<br />
<br />
The company design and manufacture emergency lighting and alarm systems that they supply into private and public sectors, with the main purchaser of their equipment being hospitals.<br />
<br />
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in electronic design or related discipline and have 5 years industry experience. Knowledge of designing fire alarm panels, control panels, PCB panels, circuit board fire alarms would be beneficial. Knowledge of non – resistive fault design for addressable fire alarms would be a distinct advantage.<br />
<br />
The company are offering an attractive package with a salary of around £25k and a company pension scheme. They also offer 20 days holiday plus an extra 8 for bank holidays.<br />
