International Consultant Engineering company require an Electrical Engineer for permanent staff position based out of the Midlands. Job Purpose: To provide Electrical Engineering design support in relation to all aspects of railway projects, including Systems, Train Control; and Signalling. The post holder will be production and development of electrical engineering designs for a variety of different sized projects and of varying complexity. These will be developed interactively with the engineering team leaders and project managers. The Projects range from the Conceptual, pre-feasibility, feasibility, preliminary and detailed design stages. The post holder will generally work within multidisciplinary teams of engineers, quantity surveyors, environmental specialists, signalling designers and permanent way designers. He/she will be expected to attend and participate in Group meetings that are held on a monthly basis. Qualifications: Good Electrical Engineering Degree. Specific electrical engineering experience is desirable, but not essential. Candidates should have a thorough grounding in Electrical Principles.
