Quantity Surveyor _ South Wales _ £18 million Project
The Client and the Quantity Surveying Job:
My clients provide independent cost and project management consultancy services across a wide range of sectors throughout the UK and mainland Europe. They work on some of Europe’s largest building and engineering projects and are currently commissioned on projects ranging in value from £100k up to £700 million.
They are seeking Quantity Surveyors with Civil Engineering project experience for water projects in South Wales. The water projects include; waste water works, clean water works, pipelines and works on pumping stations including minor building works.
The Right Person:
The candidate should preferably have at least 2 years post graduate experience and be working towards attainment of their APC; however, newly qualified candidates are also welcome to apply. The successful candidates should have the ability to work in a highly dynamic team environment and be competent at core quantity surveying skills, as well as being excellent communicators. The role will involve the pre and post contract cost management of schemes in a collaborative working environment. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for coordinating junior members of staff and providing regular financial reports to the Client.
Remuneration:
Up to £32,000 per annum
