Project Planner
Our client is one of the leading contractors in the whole of Europe specialising in the rail sector. They work on a variety of rail related projects, including track, signalling, bridges, tunnels and stations. Currently they employ in excess of 30,000 in the whole of the UK with an annual turnover of almost £4 billion.
Due to superb management, excellent business practices and intensive growth strategies, they are currently recruiting a Rail Planner (3 years) to be based at their offices in Hertfordshire.
This is a role working on a variety of projects, including Signalling, Telecomms, Track, Civils, Electrification and Estates. Project values range from £100,000 to £100 million.
In order to apply for this role, you will require the following:
-Experience of Primavera P3 software is essential. You must have used this in a commercial environment for at least 3 years.
-Experience of Primavera P3e is highly desirable, yet not essential
-You will have experience of planning rail, civils or construction projects previously
-Candidates educated to degree level will be given preference, however this is not essential
Responsibilities include:
-Ensure that the plan is fully resourced and cost loaded
-Monitor progress to the plan and make changes as required
-Develop recovery programme and contingency plans in order to meet changed objectives
-Report actual performance and variance against plan and forecast outcomes

Remuneration
The company is offering the right candidate a generous package of:
