Permanent Way Engineer required for main contractor to work around London and South East. Salary £40K-£45K Car. ÂÕPURPOSE OF THE JOBÔ âõÔ Direct the Sub area maintenance function to ensure that all track is maintained safely and to technical standards to meet business requirements. Control activities and deploy resources efficiently and economically to meet manpower and budget.Ô ÂÕPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESâõÔ Motivate all staff controlled in the safe and efficient discharge of track maintenance activities in compliance with company procedures, Civil Engineering instructions.Ô Ô Ensure inspections and standards are carried out to schedules and remedial work identified is undertaken to timescales.Ô Ô Ensure plant/materials provision for planned/emergency works to maintain track reliability/safety.Ô Ô Maintain adequate system for planning/monitoring
