As Team Leader you would report into the Project Manager, and your main role would be to undertake and lead the preliminary and detailed design and assessment of highway structures. </p><br><br><b>Key Responsibilities</b> <br><ul><li>Providing techincal guidance and leadership to bridge design and assessment teams. Responsible for ensuring work is completed within time and budget and to the required quality.</li><li>Application of Quality, Safety and Environment (QSE) systems.</li><li>Contributing to the technical development of the bridges team of around 50 staff in Epsom.</li></ul><br><br><b>Requirements</b> <br>Essential</p><ul><li>Relevant degree in engineering<li>Chartered or equivalent Civil or Structural Engineer with experience of using BS5400: Parts 3, 4, 5</li></ul>Desirable</p><ul><li>Experience of detailed design within a design and build project<li>Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients</li></ul><br><br><b>Training and Development</b> <br><p>Atkins develops individuals through a portfolio of in-house and external training and development courses designed to help you make the best of your abilities and talents.
