The Client
Our client is one of the leading contractors in the whole of Europe, they work on a variety of rail and civils projects including signalling, track extensions and other rail related projects. Currently they employ in excess of 30,000 people in the whole of the UK with an annual turnover of almost £4 billion.
The Role
They are currently seeking a project planner to be based in Central Essex to work on high profile rail projects. You will be developing and programming project and investment reports for both the company and the end clients. This is a crucial role as you will be in charge of cost management and ensuring the company collates all planning requirements in the most efficient manner.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
" Resource and cost loading the plans
" Review and resolve any risks involved
" Liaise with internal employees and end clients in a professional manner
Successful Candidate
You will have over 3 years experience within the rail sector in a planning role. You must have a sound knowledge of Primavera and relevant rail qualifications.
Ideally you will be educated to degree level (although not essential) and have a keen desire to progress your career within one of the leading rail organizations.
Remuneration
They are able to pay up to £40,000 per annum dependant upon experience and offer a generous benefits package including company pension scheme, healthcare, 28 days annual leave, discounted season tickets and a bonus scheme.
