Our client is a management consultancy providing outsourced services to major national and international organsations. Their clients are big names in telecommunications, banking and finance and public sectors.
They need someone to participate in the vendor selection and supply chain management for the Project team of a telecommunications giant. This role will support the Project Procurement activities, including the procurement of equipment, materials and services.
Responsibilities include:
* To prepare and issue expressions of interest and pre-qualification documents to potential suppliers
* To obtain quotations for the supply of equipment, materials and services under the guidance of the procurement team
* To conduct customer and supplier negotiations under the guidance of the procurement team
* To check the technical specifications are complimentary to the conditions of contract, analyse, evaluate and produce tender evaluation report with recommendations to purchase
* To handle general Purchasing Administration
* To assist Supplier selection and management
The position is based in Greenwich, S.E. London. Candidates must have 3 ‘A' levels or equivalent, be CIPS qualified with tube line or Railtrack experience and have here years contract management experience.
Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft office.
