Purchasing Director - Mobile Telecoms
Overview:
Immediate start available for an accomplished Purchasing Directorto join this international, market-leading & award-winning distributor & trader of mobile phone accessories with aggressive international expansion plans.
Our client is already the preferred supplier of choice for mobile phone accessories into the UK's major supermarkets, FMCG retailers, mobile phone outlets & etailers - your challenge will be to continue this incredible success in the UK and also drive new business wins with the major potential client partners on the Continent.
You will need to be able to demonstrate a proven & highly successful track record in profitably negotiating with & buying from international suppliers.
You must be comfortable working within an unpredictable & highly energetic environment where everyone is personally accountable for their own performance.
The market dictates the product sale price - you will drive the profitability of all transactions by buying product at the lowest possible cost.
Candidates from an FMCG, electronics or telecoms procurement background are particularly invited to apply for this role.

A highly sales-orientated buyer with exceptional proven track record & stable CV
Experience in FMCG, supply chain & product category management

Able to deal with conflict
Analytical & commercially aware
Creative and quick-witted
Knowledge of the mobile phone / telecom sector a huge advantage

The Package:
£70-75k base salary (negotiable at interview) + generous bonuses total OTE of £100k.
Exceptional salary reviews are the norm for the top performers with this client.
Benefits are company pension scheme, 21 days paid holiday plus executive company car or equivalent car allowance.
This position is based in Cheshire, UK but some international travel will be involved.
