Our client is one of Europe’s leading analytical laboratories. From this department the work is carried out under contract from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA). It is a rapid throughput laboratory handling up to 1,500 samples per day and relies heavily on semi-automated laboratory systems. Sample numbers vary considerably during the yearly cycle.Results must be reported on the same day that samples are received. As part of our future plans for improved effectiveness in delivery we now require a new team member to play a pivotal role in maintaining and extending our excellent delivery record.
