HR Manager - Human Resources
London, City EC1
£ Up to 50,000
Our client is an integrated IT business, designing, deploying and operating IT Solutions for its clients. They are looking to recruit a Human Resources Manager.
The main purpose of the job is:
* To manage the Human Resources Function at the group, ensuring that the department systematically analyses and diagnoses organisational and people issues by owning and driving best practice techniques across the Company.
* To supervise and control the Resource Management function ensuring that all internal resources meet external customer requirements to maximise utilisation throughout the Company.
* Produce practical ideas for improvements or solutions, and to participate in organisational policy making decisions thus enabling the effective management of employees.
* To manage all health and safety requirements for the Company.
Knowledge and experience:
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level (or relevant experience)
* CIPD Qualified (MCIPD)
* Relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSHH) (Desirable)
Specific requirements:
Essential
* Experience of managing a small integrated HR Department.
* Proven experience of protecting businesses from employment litigation.
* Experience of effective verbal and written communication methodologies up to Board level.
* A sound working knowledge of the following HR practices:
- Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems
- Employee and Organisational Development
- Corporate Restructuring
- Resource Management
- Employee Relations
- Strategy and Policy formulation
- Compensation and Benefits
- Employment legislation
- TUPE regulations
Desirable
- Previous experience of managing TUPE transfers
- Experience of working within the IT Industry
- Experience of running best practice workshops/seminars based around new and current HR practices.
