Our client is one of the UK's leading Telcos.
You as a designer will have the following:
Experience as a ARCHITECT
Track record in managing large software development projects (£5M+) including experience as the responsible architect.
3 yrs - delivering MOBILE PRODUCTS/ services,
Demonstrated or presented to Exec Management (CTO or CEO level) to support executive management.
BSc. Hons in a scientific discipline (preferably Computer Science).
5 yrs min in ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE & design include major OSS &/or Network related systems.
5 yrs of deploying large scale applications (J2EE, web services & mobile technologies)
Design authority &/or technical architect responsible for mobile internet products e.g. carrier grade Service Delivery Platforms e.g. IBM SPDE or Nokia mPlatform.
Experience distributed or local applications using mobile handset operating environments & browser technologies.
Good understanding of radio network architecture & underlying infrastructure including rating, access control & billing.
Formal modelling knowledge, preferably UML & how the notation is applicable to the software development process
Standard architectural & design approaches described in UML & similar languages.
Desirable
Technical consultancy track record (senior to principle level) within a premier league organisation.
Mobile handset knowledge including WML/WAP/XHTML/J2ME & Symbian
