The Torpedo Countermeasure Systems Strategic Business Unit (SBU) requires the job-holder to support the Project Manager (Inboard) & ensure that the technical requirements are met on time and within budget. Exp: 4+ years relevant experience within a related Engineering defence environment Previous experience of sonar systems & embedded software systems in a VXWorks environment is essential Lead, manage & provide technical guidance to the design team & sub-contractors, where applicable, on architecture, functionality & qualification aspectsSupport the establishment of an engineering work-based structure in conjunction with the Sub-System Design Authority (SSDA)Provide inputs to Engineering & project reports, as requiredAssist the production of System, Sub-System, Component, hardware/computer software configurable items' specifications Support the planning/conducting of System & Sub-System Design/Peer Reviews, including sub-contractors, as requiredSupport System Integration & Test.
