Description
Client is a world leader in power and automation technology and employs about 5000 people in Switzerland.
Company is a worldwide leading manufacturer of turbochargers for diesel and gas engines, with a global service network. Our department in Baden, Switzerland consists of 14 people, responsible for the worldwide 4-stroke medium-speed market.
We are looking for a Manager Sales and Application Engineering.
This position reports to the General Manager Medium-Speed Segment.
You will be responsible for application engineering for one of our major customers plus several smaller engine builders, and participate in major development projects.
Your tasks:
Assisting engine builders in the development of turbocharging systems for new and existing models.
Working out technical and commercial solutions with Company turbochargers.
Working out requirements for future product needs and new markets as input for the product-market strategy.
Participation in engine trials.
Participation in internal development projects.
Customer support on a daily business.
Executing Company strategy for the 4-stroke market.
Requirements:
Master’s or bachelor’s degree, preferably in mechanical engineering.
Experience in the diesel and gas engine industry.
Fluency in English; German is an advantage.
Customer orientation, good communication skills, and a persuasive manner.

Knowledge of the Diesel and Gas engine industry
