Working within our Engineering unit, you will be responsible for specifying and
amending technical procedures in BR700,Tay and TP400 manuals in strict
adherence to ATA and ASD/AIA requirements. For this purpose, you will work in
close collaboration with the relevant departments in order to address technical
issues and request authorisation for newly developed procedures. Furthermore,
you will be expected to liaise with customers and suppliers to clarify specific
technical points.
This position calls for a degree in engineering or equivalent technical qualifications.
In addition,we expect two to three years’work experience gained as a
member of a technical editing team or in a similar role.To succeed at this level,
you will also require a solid understanding of aircraft and/or aerospace-engine
manuals as well as ATA and ASD/AIA specifications. A good command of "AECMA
Simplified English” is equally important, as is first-hand experience in using technical
publication systems and SGML. Additionally, you will require a sound understanding
of all processes relating to engine assembly and disassembly, preferably
complemented by expertise in configuration procedures. It goes without saying
that a strong command of English, both written and spoken, is an essential prerequisite
for employment at this level.
