Our client is a world leading global electronics company serving the Aerospace, defence, and Security and Services markets worldwide.
Primary Pupose
Our client is currently seeking a sub contracts manager to support production requirments and achievments of sales targets. Your role will be to identify risks to supply and develop and implement mitigation actions with sub-contractors. You must be able to prioritise your own workload to achive optimum performance and drive continuous improvement and monitor progress against KPI's whilst identifying and implementing cost reduction initiatives with sub-contractors.
Background
Your background will have covered the management of sub-contractors throughout the product lifecycle through concept, development, pre production, series production and support phases. Strong programme management skills and experience are desirable.
Education
You must be qualified with a relevant degree and or membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Suuply (CIPS), alternativley candidates will be considered with relevant and extensive experience.
The ideal candidate with have strong communciation skills, an understanding of key tasks on forecasts for sales and profit targets, be dynamic and self motivated. You will have at leats two years experience in successfully procuring from and managing suppliers who provide technicall and complex equipment.
