Exciting opportunity to join this leader in the Defence market. Working as part of an Integrated Project Team, you will be required to be the Commercial Lead in the CMU Business Winning activities and subsequently deliver the post-contract award commercial activities. The role will require the ability to undertake a key Customer interface position and perform contract negotiation and management activities. In addition, the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders (DLO, PFG) to meet the bid programme whilst ensuring the Company's commercial position is protected is essential. Key responsibility areas: The preparation of detailed proposals; Establish overall pricing policies and agree cost/pricing build structures to ensure a sound commercial basis is maintained in line with overall company policies; Provide Commercial Governance through bid preparation activities to ensure that proposals are prepared adequately; Develop, maintain and oversee the operation of strategies and policies for managing commercial risk; Appraise Change Proposals/Gainshare initiatives and advise senior management of the risks and returns necessary to ensure a profitable venture; The drafting and negotiation of contractual agreements including acceptable terms and conditions of contract and associated prices and payment provisions; Generation of Internal Works Authorisation in accordance with the contract and company procedures; To prepare data and presentation material for inclusion in Management and/or Customer Briefs; Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements; Provision commercial and financial input to CSR; Flow down to Purchasing the sub-contract requirements for CSC, DARA and RKD including SOW and Ts
