Switchmode Power Design Engineer: Ideally you have at least 2 years experience of switch mode power supply design comprising of either AC-DC or DC-DC converters within the power range 20W-2kW but primarily 1 - 2 KW. Additionally you are qualified to HNC/HND or degree level and have a good understanding of the latest design topologies available. Experience of PCB layout via Easy PC / Vutrax or similar package advantageous in addition to experience of design requirements for safety/EMC. Consideration will also be given to candidates with PSU design experience and who can demonstrate a keen interest/aptitude within the field of switchmode power supply design.
