Emergency Services Operations Manager
Vacancy Description
The successful candidate will manage the operational contracts for Emergency services.
Key duties will include:
Manage the operational contracts of the emergency services department
Provide support and daily direction for the contract managers
Take responsibility for emergency services Quality, Health and Safety, Risk and Environmental contractual issues.
Provide financial and budgetary control, focused on cost control, profitability and cash management for emergency service contracts.
Deputising for the emergency service director, as appropriate on operational matters
Liaise with customers on operational issues
Provide reports and briefs as required
Control and provide technical and operational inputs into contract rebids
Provide technical support to new bids activity
Qualification requirements
Include a Degree in an appropriate discipline, operational experience of managing customers, peoples and budgets and business development experience.
A marine background is a distinct advantage.
