To be responsible for performing specfic systems engineering activities on allocated projects across the full project lifecycle.
You will be part of a team delivering software-intensive systems, ensuring a coherent suite of system requirements, interfaces, acceptance criteria and development processes with customer(s) and suppliers. You will support team leaders in the delivery to cost, schedule, and quality criteria, following prescribed development processes.The product area covered will require experience of miitary system development, avionics, tactical data links, Link 16, Network Management and Mission Planning Systems.
You will need proven skills in requirements/needs capture, systems analysis and design, interface design and control, systems design and integration, product design and development, test planning, verification, validation, acceptance testing and delivery. You will have an understanding of the full development lifecycle and associated work products (e.g. Mil Std 498), be familiar with CM, DM and associated issues and have experience performing systems development and using systems test tools (eg DOORS for Requirements, ROSE/Rhapsody for Modelling).A sucessfull candidate will typically have 5-8 years experience working on SW intensive programmes in a systems or software engineering role and a BSc/MSc in relevant engineering discipline.
