Required by this leader in the defence market to provide an experienced Security Engineering capability into all ongoing projects. To understand and demonstrate the processes involved in delivering Defence projects that are accreditable. Provide a Security Engineering capability into Business Development activities. The successful candidate will ideally be educated to INFOSEC degree, however, a minimum of 5 years experience within Defence/Aerospace or Engineering environment would be considered. You will need the experience, knowledge and ability to explain and debate security engineering concepts, requirements and processes with all levels of management, up to and including engineering executive level, as appropriate. Also to derive security requirements from function and requirements and to engineer and manage the delivery of those requirements into project design. Create and manage the necessary security documentation and manage day-to-day implementation of the security engineering plans. JSP 440 Vol 3; HMG IS1, IS2 and IS3; DIAN 07; DIAN 08; BSI 7799. An understanding of overall engineering development lifecycle is also required. This person must be proactive with the ability to communicate at all levels. Customer-facing skills are particularly important. You need to be reliable and capable of working as part of a team. Also resourceful in performing activities requested to ensure adequate quality and timely delivery. You will also need experience in other aspects of Systems Engineering.
