Mechanical Engineers, Aerospace
Working for the power systems division of the company you will be working on a range of new engine design programmes.
Working closely with the aircraft structures team you will also be asked to support other projects in the defence, nuclear and rail divisions.
We are looking for a motivated mechanical engineer with a good technical background and aptitude in the mechanical engineering/stress/fatigue and damage tolerance disciplines.
Requirements
We candidate should be Degree qualified in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or possess suitable experience in lieu of qualification.
The candidate should have 2 years professional experience in engineering environments relevant to the aerospace sector.
Ideally the candidate will have exerience in one or more of the following areas:
Areospace experience, covering aero structures and/or aero-engines.
Stress analysis including finite element modelling.
Fatigue and damage tolerance.
Design.
Composite materials.
Thermal analysis.
Testing.
